Your stems will arrive carefully wrapped in our fully recyclable packaging. To keep them secure in transit, some may be gently bent — simply straighten them out on arrival and start styling (this is where the magic begins).

Each stem is intentionally left at varied lengths to allow for that natural, layered look we love + to suit a range of vases. You may wish to bend a few to suit shallower vessels, or trim with wire cutters for a perfect fit. We leave stems uncut so you can rework them across different vases and refresh your space seasonally.

Yes, absolutely. Our Luxe arrangements are especially generous, making them perfect for creating two smaller arrangements across multiple vases if you wish. You can also style a single stem in a smaller vessel for a minimal, elegant touch elsewhere in your home. Our faux florals are intentionally versatile — designed with real living spaces in mind. That’s the beauty of Ivy & Silk arrangements: one creation, endless styling possibilities.

We recommend storing your stems in their original Ivy & Silk box, designed to keep them safe and snug. Gently bend the stems (as needed) to fit inside without forcing or compressing them — this helps preserve their shape and structure. Always store in a dry, dust-free space, away from direct sunlight or humidity, to keep your florals looking their best for years to come.

Yes — we always encourage you to style our florals in your favourite vases. If a vase has a narrower neck, it will hold the stems more tightly for a neat, upright look. A wider neck creates a more open, wild and natural feel. If your vase seems too tall, too wide, or too small, you can separate your arrangement into two parts, or browse our curated vessels designed specifically to suit our stems.

As a guide, we recommend your vase be around a third to a half of the height of the full arrangement for the most balanced and beautiful look. Have fun experimenting — that’s part of the joy.

Absolutely yes. Your arrangement’s style depends on the vase you choose, its neck size, and how you place the stems. For a wild, loose, rustic vibe — think wide-necked, front-facing designs with plenty of natural movement and shape. For a more composed, polished style, use a narrower neck and tuck the stems lower for a tighter, elegant feel.

Absolutely - many of our clients love mixing fresh and faux florals to create beautifully layered arrangements. Pairing our signature faux roses with fresh foliage, or using our faux greenery alongside fresh lilies, is a wonderful way to enjoy both the long-lasting elegance of faux and the scent and texture of fresh.

If you're using our clay pots, you can add water for fresh stems, but please be mindful: terracotta naturally absorbs water. We recommend placing the pot on a tile or coaster to protect your surfaces. Alternatively, you can nestle a small jug or glass inside the pot to hold water safely.

Our ceramic vessels are water-tight and do not absorb moisture, making them perfect for both faux and fresh styling. Mixing mediums allows you to enjoy the best of both worlds — season after season.

Not at all. However we recommend trimming stems for lower vases like our Earth Vessel, especially hydrangeas, to help them sit low into the pot. You can also shape stems by gently bending the stems if you prefer.

For trimming, use wire cutters to snip the stem, then wiggle it back and forth to remove any unwanted wire cleanly. For safety, we suggest sealing the cut end with a small dab of glue to cover any sharp wire and keep everything smooth and secure.
